The film is part homage and part extrapolation. While Cartier-Bresson's life is well documented, I wanted to produce a film depicting what his private life may have been life in his waning years living in Provence. Without dialogue, I shadow Cartier-Bresson's workaday life from morning until late afternoon on one particular late autumn day in 2003, December 9th, 2003. The film begins with several text only screens designed to give the viewer a brief description of who Cartier-Bresson was and informs that the film is in fact, a depiction of a day in his life. Music is the only accompaniment used throughout the 10 minute film."
